For most of the projects, I begin with a search for truth. Where does the film belong? Who is it talking to? I try to answer these questions without any fear. Being afraid of the real answer is always a sign that the theme or plot has no truth in it. Finding truth takes cooperation with talented writers and actors who also are in the search for truth.
